WELCOME AMY SEIDITA!

I am originally from the eastern Ohio western Pennsylvania area. After graduating from Youngstown State University, I spent time teaching health and physical education in grades K-12 primarily in Youngstown-Warren Ohio area.  Upon moving to Florida with my husband and two boys in 2001 I taught elementary physical education at Lewis Carroll on Merritt Island.  I started my real estate career in the late summer of 2004.  Experiencing a new career and a distructive hurricane season all at the same time.  I have been actively enjoying the pursuit of my real estate career with the representation of both sellers and buyers.  Doing many real estate sales in both an active market and during the slower period has given me a good solid background in what needs to be done to either buyer or seller representation.  I have a great deal of experience in short sale representation of both buyers and sellers and have taken additional courses in distressed properties and foreclosures.   I have also take additional training in property management and have had experience working in that capacity at a complex in Rockledge.  I am very familiar with all of Brevard county and have personal experience with beachside living as that is where I make my home.  As far as hobbies go I enjoy reading, bike riding, Maya archaeology, and Scramble with Friends on my Ipad.

Welcome Kelly Walen!

Kelly was licensed in August of last year in Real Estate and jumped into real estate.  She really enjoyed being named Rookie of the Year.  Her business is on fire!!!  Kelly is a waterfront specialist - canal front homes and oceanfront condos (beachside) are her specialty.

Kelly grew up in Texas on the Gulf Coast.  She graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Merchandising with honors from Texas State University.  After graduation, she worked in the Fashion Industry for some of the Top Leading Retailers - Dillard’s/Designer Sportswear Buyer and The Limited Corporation/Store Manager.

Kelly has sat on the local youth lacrosse board for years and is an avid volunteer in the community.  She has also been involved in substitute and short contract teaching for 10 years at Freedom 7 Elementary in Cocoa Beach.

Kelly enjoys gourmet cooking, exercising, paddle boarding, riding bikes, reading, and long walks on the beach.  Of major importance to her was totally restoring her own home.  She accomplished the work of drywall installation and became a tile expert.  This has given her an appreciation for home construction – a real asset in the housing market.

Kelly’s motto…Making it Happen!

Florida’s Housing Market Shows Positive Trend in March

According to Florida Realtors latest housing data, Florida’s housing market had increased pending sales, higher median prices, and a reduced inventory of homes for sale in March. The statewide median sales price for single family homes was up 10.3 percent from a year ago, and condos/townhomes up 20.8 percent. This large jump in median sale prices is a sign that buyers are now looking at higher priced properties, while it’s becoming tougher to find properties at the lower end of the market. With the continued decline of inventory, historically low interest rates, and buyers no longer willing to wait on the sidelines, Florida’s real estate market continues on its road to recovery.
